We have a vital presence on the campus of Columbia University, offering Bible study, mission and service, and fellowship opportunities to the students, faculty and staff of Columbia University. The United Methodist Campus Ministry has an office at Earl Hall (room 101), and provides a United Methodist witness to the community at Columbia through opportunities for service, reflection, pastoral guidance, and accompaniment. For more information or to schedule a time of conversation with our Campus Minister, contact Siobhan Sargent or contact us.
Believing that God’s love is for all of God’s people, the United Methodist Campus Ministry is a Reconciling in Christ group. We are proud members of the Reconciling Ministries Network of the United Methodist Church and participate in events, worship services, and social action activities that are consistent with the mission and vision of Reconciling Ministries Network. As the Mission Statement of Reconciling Ministries Network says, we exists “to enable full participation of all people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in the life of the United Methodist Church, both in policy and practice.”
